Will Green, Noah Baglin and Albi Lapper won FIA European titles on the same day at Kristianstad, all from the British Kart Championships.
British drivers won three FIA European karting titles on the same day at Kristianstad in Sweden, in what Motorsport UK called one of the greatest days for British karting on the international stage.
Will Green, 13, became FIA European Champion in OK Junior, a title once won by Lando Norris, George Russell and Sebastian Vettel. Noah Baglin, 14, last year's Junior World Champion, took the FIA European Championship in OK, and Albi Lapper won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, sealing it by winning his Final. Green is in the Williams F1 Driver Academy and Baglin in the Ferrari Driver Academy.
Zac Drummond finished second in OK to make it a British one and two, and Emerson MacAndrew-Uren, 13, won the OK Junior Final in his first season in the class.
All three champions arrived in Sweden leading their standings after rounds in Italy, Spain and Germany. Each has come through the British Kart Championships, Motorsport UK's premier karting series. Dan Parker, Head of Karting at Motorsport UK, said the results were a clear demonstration of the strength of the national pathway.
